U.S. Government Office Supports Korea Orphans

WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 (AP) – Ninety-eight employees of the office of vocational rehabilitation here have undertaken the support of 120 Korean orphans in the San Yook disabled children’s home in Seoul.

Miss Mary E. Switzer, director of the office, announced yesterday that the employees last week sent a check for $150 to the American-Korean foundation for the support of the children. This was the second monthly contribution by the group. She said the check for “$150 will more than meet the monthly cash budget for the home.” She described most of the children as war-disabled and said they range in age from 3 to 17 years.
